Church is dying because only 3% of young adults have a Christian world view because they don't believe in Satan and judgement for good reason...

It's mostly because "Roman" Christianity had nothing to do with the original Christianity of Jesus Christ.

Roman Christianity, the bible and its gosple religion was not the original Christianity of Jesus Christ. Original Christianity was Jewish Christianity... The Romans hated original Jewish Christianity, made it illegal and executed every Jewish Christian they could find.

According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, "early Christianity regarded itself as part of Judaism. It had its center in Jerusalem; its first fifteen bishops, observed the (Jewish) Law and held friendly discourse with the leaders of the synagogue. Pauline Christianity greatly aided in the Romanizing of the Church. Emperor Constantine completed what Paul had begun—a world hostile to the faith in which Jesus had lived and died.”

In the 4th century, the Romans needed a single faith merged between their paganism and Christian belief to calm the religious infighting in the collapsing empire. They created that blended religion at Nicaea, and called it "Christianity." At the Council in 325, they argued, debated, mutated, and selected the trinity, virgin birth, son of god theology, Dec. 25th from the pagan sun god's birthday and Easter (Eostre, pagan goddess of fertility, eggs/bunnies)... All this dogma was pagan Mithraism and transplanted into Constantine's altered Christianity. There was no justification, judgment, Satan or hell in original Christianity... His was simply a religion of a god of love and forgiveness, and compassion for those who were less fortunate. The Romans replaced Jesus' religion with “Roman” Christianity which was reconstituted from the Mithraic pagan religion of Roman religious tradition.

Thomas Jefferson said, “the church perverted the purest religion ever preached (Jewish Christianity), terrifying the masses for the purpose of gaining wealth and control.” And further that, "Paul was the first corrupter of the doctrines of Jesus."

Be a Christian...Great! But be intelligent..."Roman" Christianity had nothing to do with Jesus Christ.

“When Constantine became Emperor of Rome, he nominally became a Christian, but being a sagacious politician, he sought to blend Pagan practices with ‘Christian’ beliefs, to merge Paganism with the Roman Church. Roman Christianity was the last great creation of the ancient Pagan world.” (www.hope-of-israel.org/cmas1.htm)
see more... www.wheretonowstpaul.com/brad/

Be a Christian...Great! BY STEVE FINNELL

According to a 2013 survey by the Pew Research Center 27% of white evangelical Protestants, 68% of white Catholics and 78% of white mainline Protestants believe that humans have evolved over time.

Is it possible to be a Christian evolutionist? How is that possible?

God is either the creator of all things or a human evolutionists. A recent statement by Rynard Bonke to some mindless masses was that if you want the spirit as tongues of fire to,land on your head such as what happened at Pentecost, then all you have to do is "Claim it" and it will, happen, nonesense, we can do nothing on our own. I've just been pre...God hears your questions.

I've just been preparing a study on Habakkuk, one of the minor prophets in the Old Testament. He is so relevant to us today, as is the whole of the Old Testament.

Whereas the role of the prophets was to call the people back to God,Habbakkuk was so saddened by the violence and corruption he saw all around him,he asked God some difficult questions. He saw a dying world and asked,

"Why is there evil in the world". "Why does injustice go unpunished"

There is something really refreshing about his honesty as he grapples with questions that we ourselves are asking today.
.
Habakkuk complained to God about the situation.
.
We must understand that God made us perfect in His image, but we are the ones who have 'messed up'
How do you think God feels when He looks down on this His beautiful creation and sees the mess we have made.

God' s. Answer to Habbakkuk and us today is,
"I will work out my plans Be Patient!"

We have our part to play as the building blocks of the .church, as Mike said in his blog, the church is not the building it's the people and we are being called to be Salt and Light in a fallen world...

It' s not wrong to question and grapple but we must have faith to understand that Our God is SOVEREIGN and He will work out His plans and purpose. In a world that seems out of control because society at large has turned their back on God, He rules Supreme and is still in control.
We are the ones who are out of Step.JMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02210564266140123054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2995687680502319585.post-90023211373944285782013-09-30T21:22:19.183+00:002013-09-30T21:22:19.183+00:00Thank you Paul. My commitment to church (the people not the building) has taken me away from my once regular writing.

This post is a version of the sermon I preached yesterday on Big Welcome Sunday. It was aimed at visitors but, as you well understand, also at Christians who know the theory but don't quite "get it" in reality.

My passion is for every Christian to own "the church" as they own their own lives. I am blessed in that my Pastor is of one mind with me in this and I get plenty of encouragement.

Thanks for your encouragement and I hope to be posting more regularly and sharing more in future. That was my first notice today. Until today, you were someone I ran across somewhat regularly on FB, but really knew little to nothing about.

This was great. We say we know the difference between the people and the building, but the terminology Christians use make it clear that they blur the distinction all the time. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Our knowledge that the church is PEOPLE has not sunk down into our hearts, as evidenced by our speech.Paul Pavaohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03135622914331255065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2995687680502319585.post-29161534770257830102013-05-30T22:04:33.702+00:002013-05-30T22:04:33.702+00:00Lovely, Mike - we will all miss Doug. I am afraid Parliament is out of the question for me because I am disabled and it would be difficult to manage the day.

I do believe in a world that has lost faith in the same, tired political compromises someone must stand up and say something. It seems to me the people involved in these protests are decent folk who have given up on all other methods of action, want to keep their integrity but want to be heard.

Seems to me it frightens the powers that be that it is anonymous by and large.

Jubilee is a solidly biblical principle and, like so much else in the Bible, it is so very practical. I have friends working in public health who tell me that the hygiene and food laws of the Old Testament would make us a healthier and happier people.

I learned a lot preparing the post on Jubilee. I preached on it first and it seemed to be a revelation to a number of people.

It is heartening to find good people rising up against oppressive and exploitative governments and demanding Jubilee-type justice. There is hope for this world as long as good people do something.Mike Teahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14505904110015305223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2995687680502319585.post-64913161122953975762012-10-09T14:10:03.908+00:002012-10-09T14:10:03.908+00:00Hi Mike.
